Hello.

My name is Danlu Chen.

I am a Ph.D. student at UC San Diego. I have been a member of the amazing BergLab since 2020. My advisor is Taylor Berg-Kirkpatick.

I work on Natural Language Processing (NLP) and machine learning. More specifically, I interested in:

• modeling language in continuous spaces, i.e. no discrete tokens. Examples are historical tablets and sign language

• digital humanities, with a focus on ancient or dead languages

• language and reasoning

p.s. I am also a part-time ski instructor. I love Steamboat > Snowbird ~ Brighton.
